Job Description

Essential Functions Manage customer relationship post-sale.


Control each Project through entire lifecycle including but not limited to:

Creating the order (Order Entry).

Direct engineering schedules and priority projects for resubmittal of customer facing documents. Input custom sample orders per project requirements and order standard stock samples as needed for approval. Interpreting construction drawings, architectural drawings, and mechanical drawings; applying knowledge of best practices to direct engineering and production towards successful completion of drawings and/or fabrication.

Receiving, interpreting, and communicating revisions or requests for change with internal teams and with client.

Controlling potential change orders to capture maximum revenue.

Generate revenue through identifying expedite opportunities 

Direct control over priority projects and reducing profit loss due to project cancellations

Notifying customer of any related impact due to schedule changes in and out of our control.

Releasing orders to production team and leading large scale/kick off team meeting(s) as needed.

Collection and Reconciling of any prepayments required up to time of final invoice. Collection and execution of project specific Tax documents Coordinating release of shipment with customers and logistics group.


Resolve post-delivery issues (Customer Service Issues) including but not limited to: Active Listening to and documenting complaints from customer.

Work interdepartmentally as needed to identify root cause and solutions.

Interpret data to determine if customer should be charged.

Manage and document all costs associated with post-delivery issues.

Work within TGP/Allegion Level of Authority (LOA) to advocate on the customers behalf while protecting TGP/Allegion interests.


Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

 A minimum of six (6) years of project management experience in a related glazing, manufacturing, construction, or related customer service environment.

Successful candidates will have experience in scheduling; managing multiple competing projects with lifecycles of several weeks to several months; and providing detailed technical expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical systems. Attention to Detail Carefully monitors process and organizes systems of records. Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data.


Communication and Influence Listens with objectivity and checks for understanding. Effectively transfers thoughts and expresses ideas using speech, listening and writing skills to influence others or gain their support.

Stay objective and fair in assessing different points of view, including own point of view.
