Inventory Control Specialist

Full-Time

Daily tasks to include a variety of inventory control functions: performing cycle counts, researching inventory related ERP transactions, executing inventory relocation projects, performing inventory discrepancy investigations while ensuring inventory accuracy and accurate record keeping. Kitting of all raw material to be used in production orders based on WO requirements. Issuing materials towards jobs using ERP system to maintain accurate inventory levels and lot control.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Physically locating and counting materials
Performing inventory variance investigations using ERP system and working with other departments or team members to identify and correct issues
Transferring inventory within the factory
Ensure inventory storage areas are labeled and organized
Examine work orders requirements to determine required parts and materials
High degree of accuracy pulling correct material, counting parts, measuring / cutting material
Accurately track and record all scrap materials
Interact with other departments to resolve WO discrepancies as needed
Ensuring the utilization of FIFO and maintaining lot control
Ensure company standard work practices and procedures are followed
Maintain orderly, clean, and safe work area and actively promotes 5S practices
Must be a good problem solver
Regular and predictable on-site attendance
