Position Summary:

SanMar is a leading supplier in the Promotional Products industry, with a dynamic, fun and active IT department that has ample opportunities for learning and career growth. This position provides tier I and II technical support for the entire organization from the warehouse to the corporate office. The Support Technician II works directly with Service Desk colleagues and other IT teams to provide efficient and friendly support to other SanMar employees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service at all times Answer incoming calls/emails for IT-related support Consistently manage tickets in team and personal queue Clearly document issue description, troubleshooting steps and resolution details in each support ticket Perform desk-side support and IT equipment moves as necessary Assist with meeting room AV setup and instruction Perform hardware imaging, deployment, maintenance and tracking Complete various project-related duties as assigned Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required

Requirements for Position:

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Mac OS X, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of PC and Apple devices and peripherals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills, as well as knowledge of proper phone usage and etiquette Ability to work well under pressure Ability to complete tasks in a thorough and timely manner Ability to thrive in a dynamic, constantly changing environment Ability and energy to work on multiple concurrent projects and switch focus as necessary A positive attitude is essential IT certifications (A+, Net+, CCENT, Microsoft certs) are desired but not required Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of IT support experience (Service Desk, Help Desk, or Call Center) or equivalent training

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment is moderately quiet office environment.
