Wildwood Ranch is a children's summer camp located in Fall City that specializes in outdoors-focused camps to connect kids with nature and their peers. Campers rotate through activities such as horseback riding, crafts, gardening, group games, snacks, and nature with their counselors. We are looking for energetic individuals who are interested in a rewarding experience working with children and gaining valuable life skills. Staff work 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday, in weekly shifts. This is ideal for individuals who are looking for a summer job but still wish to take vacations and hang out with friends in the evenings.
Lead Horse Wrangler
The lead horse wrangler works to facilitate the horseback riding portion of camp. We have a herd of three horses and a donkey with plans to lease 1-2 more horses for the summer. The lead wrangler manages the rest of the wrangler staff, manages the care and keeping of the horses, and plans and executes the horseback riding lessons and activities. The lead wrangler will also interact with and help to care for the rest of our farm animals, take part in cleaning the facility, and help to set up and execute activities. The ideal candidate would be high energy, enjoy working with children, have experience working at a barn and teaching riding lessons, and have a passion for the outdoors. Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. Position could start April - June, is guaranteed hours through the end of August, and has the possibility to turn into a year-round job.
