Job Overview: We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable tutors to join our Teen Homework Hub team. As a tutor, you will work with middle and high school students to provide individualized academic support across various subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies. Your role is to help students excel in their coursework, develop strong study habits, and build confidence in their academic abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to middle and high school students in a range of subjects.
Assist students with daily assignments, test preparation, and long-term projects.
Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
Help students develop effective study strategies and time management skills.
Maintain an organized and resource-rich learning space, including the setup of workstations and study materials.
Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, a subject area relevant to the position, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Previous experience tutoring or teaching middle and high school students.
Strong knowledge of subjects such as math, science, English, and social studies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students in a positive and constructive manner.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for education and helping students succeed.
Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM
*Pick up any of these shifts, or work a half-shift.
