Line Cook

$20 - $24 an hour + tip pool

South Fork is looking for experienced full-time and part-time Line Cooks to join our team of culinary creators. As a Line Cook you will perform a variety of restaurant/kitchen related tasks including food preparation, product stocking and rotation, food prep, and basic cleaning duties.

The Good Stuff (money & benefits)
$20-24 per hour (DOE) + tips.
FREE Shift meal for all shifts worked over 6 hrs.

Sick Time accrual for both full and part-time team members. Sick Time accrual starts on your first day, can be used after 90 days.

The Deets (what you'll be expected to do in the job)
Responsible for the quality, food safety and sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information.
Prepares food for service using knives, ovens, gas stoves, broiler, griddles.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area.

Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of Line Cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
Experience with cooking food to preferred specifications.
Current food safety knowledge and valid Food Handler Card at time of hire.
Ability to hustle without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
Physical requirements - must be able to stand and move around a kitchen for up to 8 hours; lift and carry up to 50lbs.
