Engagement Coordinator

$21.50 - $23.50 / hour

The Mt Si Senior Center is seeking a passionate and dynamic Engagement Coordinator to join our team. The Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in connecting seniors and community members with enriching activities and events at the Center, fostering volunteerism to further our mission, and encouraging membership support.

**Responsibilities:**

- Connect seniors and community members with opportunities to participate in activities and events at the Center, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.
- Manage a volunteer-assisted front desk, providing a welcoming environment and assisting clients and guests with information and resources.
- Orient new clients and guests to optimize opportunities for participation in Center activities and services.
- Take an active leadership role on the membership and volunteer committees, collaborating with team members to enhance engagement and support.
- Provide oversight and development in all aspects of the membership and volunteer programs, including planning, recruitment, orientation, training, and managing appreciation events.
- Cultivate relationships with volunteers, members, and community partners to strengthen the Center's network and impact.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to develop and implement creative strategies for increasing membership and volunteer participation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to membership and volunteer activities.

**Requirements:**

- Experience working with seniors and/or community engagement programs strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management preferred.
