Marketing and Social Media Intern

About $20 Hour, DOE

Nelson Treehouse is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing manager, contributing to various projects that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across digital platforms.

Schedule: 30 hours per week maximum
Required: 20 hours per week working from Fall City, Washington office
10 hours of remote work is possible.
Minimum 6 week commitment.

Pay: ~$20 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Pitch and create engaging and visually appealing content and creative campaigns for TikTok, Instagram,YouTube and Facebook for multiple business accounts
Assist in monitoring and engaging with our online community, responding to comments and messages.
Help launch and establish Instagram accounts for new Nelson ventures
Collaborate with the marketing team to generate multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
Utilize graphic design skills to create signage, order thank you cards, labels, etc.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience preferences.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.
Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of marketing campaigns.
Organize and maintain photos assets, ensuring a systematic and easily accessible structure.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Marketing, Communications, or Social Media-related program.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in graphic design tools and multimedia content creation.
Proficient in various photo/video editing applications for crafting compelling social assets.
Solid photography and videography skills, coupled with experience in content capture.
Familiarity social media analytics platforms
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Square
