Housekeeper+

$25 to $27/hour

This is a part-time position, typically ranging between 15-35 hours per week, morning to mid-day.
We are looking for someone who can be friendly, hospitable, helpful, neighborly, warm, kind-hearted, congenial, sociable, cordial, etc. We also need a problem-solver, and someone who can see what just needs to get done.
This job requires multiple talents and skills to help us run a small business. This job will be challenging, because the role is so important to us, as you will see below.

OUR BUSINESS:
We are a traditional bed & breakfast in North Bend, WA. (We are NOT an AirBnB). Our guests are served a hot breakfast that we prepare that morning. We ran this business for near 30 years.

OUR NEEDS:
Housekeeping: We rent 5 rooms typically for only one or two nights. We need a housekeeper to clean and sanitize these rooms and make them cozy for guests arriving that afternoon or evening. This includes stripping of the bed, doing the laundry for the towels and sheets, taking out the trash, cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces including the bathroom, vacuuming the rooms, and making the bed.

Grounds: We have a unique property that has an amazing view of the Snoqualmie River. Our guests spend a lot of their time outside, so we need to keep the grounds in beautiful shape. This requires extensive maintenance that may include raking, gardening, planting, mowing of lawns, etc. Whatever it takes.

Breakfast: We need help preparing the breakfasts. We serve a hot breakfast to the guests by 8:30am. This may include setup before we start and cleaning the kitchen after we are done.

If you can help with online grocery shopping, marketing, photography, or landscaping: all of this would be a plus.

• Live near North Bend
• Be physically able to do the job
