Events Coordinator Intern
$18 Hour
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Events Coordinator Intern to join our team at The Line Experience. As an Events Coordinator Intern, you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in organizing and coordinating various events, both hosted by our center and in collaboration with the local community. You’ll be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing events that showcase our trail biking offerings and engage our target audience. You will also participate in community events as a representative of The Line, promoting our brand, and building strong relationships within the local community.
Job Responsibilities
1. Event Planning, Promotion, and Execution
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of hosted events at The Line Experience.
Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, themes, and activities.
Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, permits, and catering.
Develop event timelines and ensure all activities are executed according to schedule.
Create compelling email and social media communications to promote events.
Assist with event setup, signage, and decorations.
Oversee event registration and attendee management.
Provide on-site event support, including managing vendors, volunteers, and participants.
2. Community Event Partnership
Identify and establish partnerships with local community organizations, biking clubs, and event organizers.
Collaborate with partners to participate in events that align with our brand and objectives.
Act as a liaison between The Line Experience and community partners, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
3. Brand Representation
Attend community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as a representative of The Line Experience.
Promote our services, products, and brand image to event attendees and participants.
Build relationships with potential customers, sponsors, and influencers in the biking community.
Collect feedback and insights from event attendees to improve our offerings and customer experience.
Job Requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with team members, community partners, and event attendees.
Enthusiasm for outdoor activities, particularly trail biking, and a passion for promoting an active lifestyle.
Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and experience using them for event promotion.
Ability to create engaging and compelling content for social media platforms to generate interest and drive attendance.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics to track engagement and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is a plus.
Valid driver's license and ability to transport equipment to event locations.
Duration: This is a part-time (10-20 hours/week) paid internship position with a duration of 3 months.
