Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Supplement Shop Sales Person. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling our range of nutritional supplements, and assisting customers in achieving their health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and fitness, excellent communication skills, and a strong sales acumen. We are a small, family owned business with the goal of helping people along their wellness journey.
Responsibilities:
-Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
-Educate customers on the benefits and uses of various nutritional supplements, including vitamins, protein powders, and other health products.
-Assist customers in selecting the right supplements based on their individual needs, health goals, and dietary preferences.
-Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging merchandise displays.
-Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and new arrivals to effectively answer customer inquiries and make product recommendations.
-Actively promote sales and special promotions to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
-Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
-Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
-Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and strive to resolve issues to the satisfaction of the customer and the company.
-Have a basic knowledge of our POS back office in the case we need you to price inventory


Requirements:
-Preferred previous retail sales experience, preferably in a health or wellness-related industry.
-Passion for health, fitness, and nutrition, with a basic understanding of dietary supplements and their benefits.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and build rapport.
-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient store operations.
-Basic math skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
-Trustworthy with the ability to be self motivated in down time to learn, keep the shop tidy, and community area in shape.
-Being familiar with our community events and promoting our fitness class/membership
-Open availability for filling in week day or weekend shifts
