Exterior Washing Pro

(Window Cleaning, Soft Washing, Pressure Washing)

$19.00 - $38.00 per hour

Picture this:

It's day five of 35 degrees and raining, you are up on a roof, elbow deep in mystery gutter sludge. Tell me, do you hate your life, or are you laughing and shaking your head?

If you are laughing right now, we want to talk to you.

We are not into wasting your time, so we want to be real with you.

-This job is physically demanding. You will be hauling ladders and working in weather that makes dads round the land declare, “looks like we’re getting a free carwash today!”
-You will be walking on roofs that make customers say, “You couldn't pay me to get up there!”
-You will be putting in some days that will make customers say, “you guys need to get home and get some rest!”

And if you are still reading and thinking, “so what’s the catch?” you will also be...

-Working with an objectively awesome group of people who genuinely care about helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
-An essential seat at a round table, leaving your mark on a company who values your ideas and insights, no matter your experience.
-Getting out what you put in through performance pay and KPI bonuses.
-Learning awesome new skills that will help develop your professional career whether you stay with us or move on to something bigger and brighter.
-Learning to be an amazing salesperson.
-Learning how to create a remarkable customer experience.
-Be more than jus a technician.

You are like us:

-You love working hard so you can play hard.
-You can connect with people who are different than you.
-You have found that the only thing scarier than being stuck inside is being stuck inside, in a small cube behind a computer.
-You have found that the excitement of learning and experiencing something new and something different every day beats the hell out of filing TPS reports.
-You have found that instead of punching clocks and zoning out, you value collaboration, moving fast, getting out what you put in, and leaving your mark.
-You believe that no matter how long you have been doing something, you can ALWAYS improve.
-You want to push yourself, fail hard, and grow fast instead of doing what is easy and comfortable.
-You have found that you would rather risk building something great and reaping the rewards than get paid by the hour until you die.
-You understand that your actions affect the people around you and choose to live with integrity and accountability.
-You would rather feel fulfilled in your work than do easy, monotonous tasks. You believe that becoming the best at what you do and making yourself invaluable trumps following your “passion”.
-You never say, "that is not in my job description". You are flexible and always up for a new challenge.
-You would rather watch someone more experienced than you and learn rather than scroll on your phone.
-You believe that everyone, despite their position, years of experience, or age can have ideas and tips that can help you improve. You are humble and open-minded.

What you will do:

With your hands: Deliver excellence in Window Cleaning, Roof Washing, House Washing, Pressure Washing, Soft Washing, Gutter Cleaning, Holiday Light Installation, (and more).

With your mouth: Exceptional communication internally with the office, field lead, etc. as well as building rapport, connection, and trust with high-value and often high-profile clients. Deliver exceptional customer service experience to customers.

With your tongue: Learn to sell. Upselling services on site, generating field leads. Organic Sales.

With your mind: Constantly learn and grow, adapt to new systems, and work to grow into new roles that present themselves in the company.

The Nuts and Bolts:

You will be meeting with the field team every morning in Issaquah at the shop space.
Depending on the position, you may or may not be driving a truck.
You will be checking the schedule and customer notes to make sure you are prepared for upcoming jobs.
This work is seasonal(ish). While we work all year round, weather and other factors can limit hours between January to March. This means we all like padding our wallets a bit when opportunities present themselves. You will need to have some flexibility in your schedule to make push a few long days.
Every once in awhile we work a weekend day.
We have flexibility with time-off as long as you let us know with some heads up and we know we can count on you when you show up.

Training:

We are hiring based on who you are, not how good you are at cleaning windows. Let's be honest, it's not rocket science. But it does take some time to be efficient at and even more time to master. What you can't teach are some of the qualities that were listed above. Depending on your experience with the work itself, you may be in training for more or less time. We aim to get you producing in a couple of weeks, and our goal is to get you on performance pay within 1-2 months. It may be earlier if you have experience (and can adapt to our expectations) or if you are a natural. Here's what you can expect:

-Operational training and basic onboarding for the first day or two. This includes meet & greets, getting you on the company tech stack, etc.
-Hands on training for the first week. One-one as much as possible with Craig (the owner) and Connor (the field manager).
-Experiential training for the second week (working with the crew).
-Frequent check-ins on progress (at least once/week for the first couple months).
-First 2 weeks is at our training wage ($18/hr)
-Clear expectations and a guide to moving into higher pay brackets after you are trained and onboarded
-Clear path to performance pay

The Bottom Line:

-You have a Drivers License
-You can Pass a Background Check
-You can walk on a roof without soiling yourself
-You are not an ass
-You can talk and connect with customers that are far richer than 99% of the planet
-You live within 30 mins of Issaquah
-You can work in all weather conditions
